NEW THIS YEAR: The Whatever Land “Race”

As part of our goal to help history meet the present here in Gardiner, Maine, we are paying homage to the Whatever Race, and various other events that have taken place on the Kennebec and in Downtown Gardiner across the years. Meet the Whatever Land “Race”…more of a promenade of kinetic sculpture and wacky costume. Absolutely everyone is invited to create a human-powered work of art and join in the festive creativity! We will be offering two workshops for both the basic how-to and some materials swapping. Join the group, spread the word and let your imagination soar!
