Volunteer Opportunities

Find Your Place and Leave Your Mark

Gardiner has taken great strides in revitalization over the years, drawing folks who choose to live, work, and play in Gardiner.

It takes a village and Gardiner is no exception: building a community takes the effort of many people.

Gardiner Main Street volunteers have a diverse set of skills and experiences: technical, financial, marketing, business, and even social services. Volunteers range in age, interests, and availability while working and handling other responsibilities including family, civic, and community roles.

Whether you’re looking to get more involved, meet new folks, enhance your resume, or be part of the event fun, no matter your background and experience, Gardiner Main Street has several opportunities to get involved! ….Don’t just take our word for it, discover our volunteers for yourself, read about their unique background and experiences: Get to Know our Volunteers…Get to Know Gardiner.

Our events are fun! Meet new people or just catch up with your neighbors. Last year, over 250 people volunteered for Gardiner Main Street events contributing over 2,000 hours. No job is too small or too big for our volunteers who do it all to pull of large, professional quality events.

Write promotional articles, data entry, manage our online communications, create reports, or help us streamline our administrative work to be better efficient and successful. Time spent is up to you, in-office or at home on your schedule.
